I decided to do a series based on the concept of “time” and how it affects us. Well, me in particular. It’s one of the underlying themes in my life and relationships. I could label it the “stress in my life”. I decided to look at many of the ways it affects our emotional state. The exhibit is called “Who Has the Time?” and is a total of eight paintings. This one is called “Alone in Time”.
I just feel that way, so often in life. Sometimes because I want to be alone and sometimes I can be surrounded by people and feel like the girl in the painting “alone as time ticks by”.
Piece measures 24″ x 38-1/2″ and is mixed media.
