Life has so many ups and downs, so much beauty and so many tears. “With nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah”. This was painted to “Hallelujah” as performed by The Brothers Reed. We dedicated the video (see below) to Porscha Schiller, a soul who was lost way too early. When I created the painting, I had intended to keep it yellow. The song made me think of angels and heaven. But as I painted, I kept thinking about the vibrancy of Porscha and so I added the bright pops of color peeking out, purple and orange, bright like Porscha.
